Guitar Lesson Registration Fall 2018

Guitar lessons are available by the semester and are offered weekly. Lessons are taught by Richard Upchurch, who was a touring musician with Emma Gibbs Band for 10+ years performing all over the U.S. Richard has written film scores, still produces albums, and his musical works of art from his company BrandNewNoise are sold all over the world. He regularly collaborates with rock stars on projects in his studio, including the Black Keys, the Flaming Lips, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Location: Guitar lessons are available in two locations, our studio at 4524 Emerson Ave. in University Park, and the BrandNewNoise studio at 5706 Goodwin Ave. in Lakewood, just off Greenville Ave. Scheduling: Lessons are currently available Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 5 and 7 p.m. |

Tuition
August 27 - December 14, 2018
- 30 minute lessons - $800
- 45 minute lessons - $1200
- 60 minute lessons - $1600
Tuition may be paid online with a 3% convenience fee, with Venmo (@jillmontgomerymusic), Square Cash ($JillMontgomery), or send a check made out to JILL MONTGOMERY to 4524 Emerson Ave. #4, Dallas, TX 75205. Tuition is due before your first lesson.
Holidays and Important Dates
- August 27 First day of lessons
- September 3 Labor Day – no lessons
- October 19 Fall Break
- November 19 – 23 Thanksgiving – no lessons
- December 14 Last day of classes for Fall
Studio Policies
- Requirements
- Students must be at least 6 years old.
- Students must have a guitar.
- Students are expected to bring their own music and assignment books each week.
- Attendance
- If your child is late arriving, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
- Please pick your child up promptly at the end of their lesson.
- ONLY the child taking the lesson may attend the lesson. Do not drop off extra children.
- Practicing is necessary for learning and improvement - 5 days per week for the length of your lesson is our goal.
