Piano LessonsPiano lessons for kids are a school year commitment with payment by the semester in advance. Please join the waiting list to be notified of available spots. During the summer, lessons for kids are available by the lesson. Adults may sign up for single lessons or for a semester package.
Location Our studio is in Dallas, Texas. Lessons are available in studio, in home (on a very limited basis), and online via Zoom. Philosophy My goal is for every student to play beautifully and to enjoy playing the piano. Lessons are individually tailored to students' interest and ability levels. I enjoy finding ways to make learning fun for everyone. Practicing is encouraged and expected between lessons. Ages Lessons are available for students ages 6 - adult. Requirements Private students are accepted by interview only. Students must have a piano at home - no exceptions. Students must commit to daily practice time. Students provide their own piano books for lessons. Only the student registered may attend during lesson time. |
Guitar LessonsGuitar lessons for kids are a school year commitment with payment by the semester in advance. During the summer, lessons for kids are available by the lesson. Adults may sign up for single lessons or for a semester package. Lessons are taught by Richard Upchurch, who was a touring musician with Emma Gibbs Band for 10+ years performing all over the U.S. Richard has written film scores, still produces albums, and his musical works of art from his company BrandNewNoise are sold all over the world. He regularly collaborates with rock stars on projects in his studio, including the Black Keys, the Flaming Lips, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
