2025 - 2026 Piano Lesson Registration
Students must be accepted into the studio prior to registering. Email jill<at>montgomerypiano<dot>com for an interview, or join the waitlist. Lessons begin August 18 for the full school year, and are available in person at 9102 Summer Glen Lane, Dallas, TX, online via FaceTime, or in person at your home (location must be approved, availability is very limited). Additional single lessons are also available. Read the studio policies below, Payment must be received before you can schedule lessons. Studio Policies
- Requirements
- Students must be at least 6 years old.
- Students must have a piano or a full sized digital piano with weighted keys, a pedal, and dynamic capability.
- Students are expected to provide their own music and assignment books for the lesson each week.
- Scheduling
- Lessons are at least once a week on the same day and time.
- You may reschedule your lesson a minimum of 48 hours in advance by swapping times with another student. Swap list available upon request. No shows are charged in full.
- Practicing is REQUIRED, and necessary for learning and improvement - 5 days per week for the length of your lesson is our goal.
Holidays and Important Dates
- August 18 - Lessons begin
- September 3 - Labor Day (no lessons)
- October 16 - 23 - no lessons* these dates may change
- November 24 - 28 - Thanksgiving break (no lessons)
- December 12 - January 4 - Winter break (no lessons)
- January 5 - lessons resume
- March 16 - 20 - Spring break (no lessons)
- April 6 - 10 - (no lessons) *these dates may change
- May 8 - Spring semester ends
- May 8 - Piano recital at Steinway Hall of Dallas
2025 - 2026 Tuition
- Tuition is billed by the semester and may be paid with Zelle ([email protected]), Venmo (@jillmontgomerymusic), cash, check, or credit card (with a 3.5% service fee).
- Tuition payments are due August 1 and December 1.
- Tuition must be paid in advance in order to schedule lessons.
